Card authorization
A card authorization is your approval, given on a Stripe payment page, to charge a named card for a named booking. To prevent fraud, we may ask new clients for one before we confirm the first ride.
How it works
Book the ride. Use the booking page, or call or message us to arrange the trip.
Pay on a Stripe payment page. When the booking page can price the trip, it asks for your details and then opens the Stripe payment page. If not, we send you a secure payment link with your booking on it.
You check the details and pay. Never send your card number in a message.
Your security
You enter your card only on Stripe payment pages, and Stripe processes it. We never see or store the full card number.
We never ask for card numbers, photos of a card or copies of an ID by phone, email, text message or WhatsApp. Our payment links always open on a stripe.com address. Any other request that claims to be from us is fraud. Don't reply, and report it to info@nycluxride.com.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation terms are confirmed in writing with the reservation. To change or cancel, call +1 (646) 775-0556 or message on WhatsApp with your reference, and give as much notice as you can.
