One car for your whole booking

When you book by the hour, one car is yours from the first pickup to the last drop. On very long days, we tell you at booking if a second chauffeur takes over. We don't swap in another car between stops. Your chauffeur learns the order of your stops, keeps your bags in the trunk while you're inside, and comes back to the curb when you message.

You pay by the hour, with a 3-hour minimum. There is no separate fare for each stop.

Waiting is part of the booking. If a meeting runs 40 minutes long, your car is still waiting and no second fare starts. To see when an hourly booking costs less than separate rides, read hourly or point to point in Manhattan.

Privacy in the car

Our cars have no company markings and no roof sign. Nobody can tell from the car who is inside.

A phone call taken in the back seat is treated as a call the chauffeur cannot hear. A colleague or a competitor named during it goes no further than the cabin.

Cabin temperature set before you get in. Audio off unless somebody asks for it. Doors opened on the sidewalk side wherever the block allows. Luggage loaded and lifted out without needing to be asked twice.

Billed by the hour, by vehicle class

You can book any class by the hour, with a 3-hour minimum. See hourly rates.

If you're only going to the airport, you don't need an hourly booking. Airport rides have one flat rate from any New York City address. Choose the class by how many bags you have. The fleet page lists the bags each car takes. See all our services.

Airport stops on an hourly booking

If your day ends at the airport, you can book it two ways, and they cost different amounts.

If the airport is the last stop of your hourly booking, it's part of the hours you booked and costs nothing more. If the airport ride is the whole trip, the flat airport rate almost always costs less, and it stays the same in any traffic.

If you're arriving by plane, book the pickup as a flat-rate airport transfer with your flight number. That works better than starting your hourly booking at the airport. We track your flight and move the pickup if it lands early or late. At JFK, your chauffeur meets you at the curb or the car service pickup area for your terminal. Once you have your bags, they call or message you with the exact spot.

With meet and greet, your chauffeur waits inside near baggage claim with a name sign, for an extra charge, plus any airport parking. You get 45 minutes of free waiting after a domestic landing, 60 minutes after an international landing, and 15 minutes at any other pickup.

An example 9-hour day

An hourly day is one booking with a list of stops. Here is an example day, written the way we'd put it on your booking.

At two of the five stops the car just waits for you. That waiting is part of the hours you booked.

7:40 AM, Upper East Side

Pickup at home. Your bags go in the trunk and stay there all day.

8:20 AM, Financial District

The car waits nearby for 2 hours during your first meetings.

11:00 AM, Midtown

Second office, then lunch four blocks away. The car moves with you.

2:30 PM, Long Island City

Across the river for a site visit. The car waits, then brings you back.

4:40 PM, JFK

Drop-off at the terminal. All 9 hours are on one booking and one invoice.

Extending your booking

You can usually extend an hourly booking while it's running. The only limit is the next booking we have for that car.

So if your day might run long, tell us early. A message an hour ahead gives us time to keep the car for you. Ten minutes before the end may be too late, because the car may already be booked across town.

If you finish early, the 3-hour minimum still applies. A day that ends after 2 hours is billed as 3.

Cancellation terms are confirmed in writing with the reservation.

Corporate accounts and repeat bookings

With a corporate account, nobody enters a card for each ride. You get monthly billing and priority scheduling, and one invoice a month with every trip listed.

Before your first ride, we may ask for a card authorization. It protects against fraud, and you only do it once.

Book online at least 1 hour before pickup. For a pickup within the next hour, email or WhatsApp us.

Where hourly bookings go

In the busy parts of the city, a car can't wait at the curb. NYC DOT rules allow a car to stop at a No Standing sign to drop off or pick up passengers, but not to wait there. They ban double parking at all times and limit idling to 3 minutes, or 1 minute next to a school or park. So your chauffeur waits nearby and comes back when you message. See all our service areas.

Questions

Questions about chauffeur service

Read the FAQ

How do I book a chauffeur in NYC?

Book online, or call +1 (646) 775-0556 with the pickup address, the destination, the date and time, and the number of passengers. If the booking page can price your trip, you see the fare before you pay. If not, our dispatch team replies in writing with the vehicle class and the fare. We also handle later changes, like new airport times, extra stops and return trips.

How much does chauffeur service in NYC cost?

Each class has its own hourly rate, with a 3-hour minimum. See all rates.

Can an hourly day end at the airport?

Yes. If the airport is the last stop, it's inside the hours you booked.

Is waiting time billed separately on an hourly booking?

No. Waiting between stops is part of the hours you booked. You get 45 minutes of free waiting after a domestic landing, 60 minutes after an international landing, and 15 minutes at any other pickup. After that, we charge waiting at a rate that depends on the vehicle. We count from touchdown for flights and from the booked pickup time for other pickups.

Does the same chauffeur stay with me all day?

Yes. On an hourly booking, the same car and chauffeur stay with you for the whole booking. On very long days, driving hour rules may mean a second chauffeur takes over, and we tell you that when you book.
